Dongfeng Fengshen AX7 models with a production date of April 3, 2015 - September 15, 2015 According to the company, 5,534 units of the relevant models are involved in mainland China.

Reason for recall:

The vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to the supplier's manufacturing reasons, the side impact sensor works abnormally, in extreme cases, the airbag warning light may light up, the airbag self-detonates or the vehicle does not detonate when it reaches the detonation conditions, etc., which poses a potential safety hazard.

Solution:

Passenger Vehicle Company of Dongfeng Motor Group Co. will replace the side impact sensors free of charge for the vehicles within the recall to eliminate the safety hazard.
